Clotilde Davenne - Chablis - 2016

Shiny straw yellow with shades of silver and gold with a limpid, beautiful presentation. The nose shows typical mineral scents of oyster shell and iodine; accompanied by fruity flavors of peach and lemon with fresh almond. With aeration tones of toasted bread and a discreet touch of baker's yeast appear. The attack on the palate is straightforward, fresh, round with good volume, reminiscent of lemony gourmet perfumes and minerals. Overall,the wine is well balanced, with a clear and precise expression of the Chablis terroir in which there are smoky and mineral notes that persist on the final.
